The applicant can apply. The system will not prevent them from applying but the applicant will need to review the provincial criteria to confirm their eligibility.

Some provinces will take applicants that have obtained their CCFP certificate.

Some provinces will take License physicians, with CCFP designation so although the applicant can still apply, they need to refer to the provincial criteria to determine if they are eligible.
