How do I de-escalate a hostile client interaction?

Handling a hostile client interaction, requires a delicate approach to ensure professionalism and resolution.

Here are the steps to follow:

1) Stay calm and identify the client

Stay calm, composed, and focused on resolving the issue.

    • Thanks bringing this to my attention. I understand this is frustrating, and I want to assure you that I'm here to help. In order to assist you further and ensure the security of your account, I do need to verify your identity. This is a standard procedure to protect both your information and our company's integrityé

2) Active Listening

Allow the client to express their concerns fully. Listen attentively without interrupting, and show that you understand by summarizing their points.

3) Empathize
