MCC - An applicant cannot upload a new transcript after sharing it from physiciansapply.ca. What do I do?

When an applicant shares documents from physiciansapply.ca and end up wanting to edit or upload the document themselves, they have to first unshare the transcript from physiciansapply. To do this, the applicant will need to complete the transfer process again and unselect the document, in this case the transcript.

We tend to run into an issue with transcripts where unsharing this document will still not allow the applicant to edit the document under My Documents - Document Tracking. If you are experiencing this issue:

  1. Ensure that the transfer was done properly, walking them through the steps again and ensuring that they have unselected the transcript when completing it again.
  2. If this does not work, send the request to Operations as they will work their magic and remove the physiciansapply.ca request and the content.
  3. Once this is done and the issue is then reassigned to you, inform the applicant that they can now upload their transcript.
